FAQ
Tout ce qu'il faut savoir pour réserver un chef privé avec UpChef.
It depends on the chef, the menu, and the number of guests — you always see the full price before you book. Most private dinners are priced per person, with no hidden fees, and you can filter chefs by budget.
Your chef plans the menu with you, shops for fresh ingredients, cooks in your kitchen, serves each course, and cleans up before they leave. You provide the space — they bring the experience.
In most cases the chef sources fresh ingredients and brings their own specialist tools, building it into the price. You can confirm exactly what's included with each chef in chat before booking.
Yes. Every chef is vetted before they can take bookings, and all reviews come from real, completed events — so the ratings you see are genuine.
Payment options depend on the market and booking. Review the total, payment method and cancellation terms before paying. Contact UpChef support if anything is unclear.
If a chef cancels, you get a full refund automatically and we help you find another chef. If you need to cancel, you're fully refunded up to 7 days before your event.
Birthdays, dinner parties, anniversaries, weddings, corporate events, family gatherings, BBQs, holidays, and weekly meal prep. If you're hosting it, there's a chef for it.
