Fine dining on the water. Your chef cooks in the galley and serves on deck — a dinner that moves at the pace of the sea.
Yacht- och båtmiddag · Göteborg
Cooking on a yacht is a specific skill. The galley is small, the motion requires adjustments to technique, and the logistics of shopping, storing and timing dishes on water are different from a land kitchen. Private chefs who take yacht bookings in Dubai understand this — they've done it, and they plan the menu accordingly.
Yacht dinners in Dubai are typically smaller events: four to twelve guests, a four-to-six course menu built around what travels and plates well on a moving vessel. Seafood — fresh from the Dubai market that morning — is the obvious anchor: a sashimi course, a seared fish main, a crustacean dish if the galley allows. Chefs experienced in yacht dining will guide you on what works best for the specific vessel.
The experience is the setting as much as the food. Tell your chef the route, the timing of sunset, and whether you want the main course at anchor or underway. They'll time the service around the water.
FAQ
Allt om att boka privatkock för Yacht- och båtmiddag i Göteborg.
For first-time bookings on a vessel with an unfamiliar galley, most experienced yacht chefs will request photos or a brief visit. This ensures the menu is matched to what the galley can produce.
Cold starters and raw courses (sashimi, tartare, ceviche) are ideal — they don't require heat and plate beautifully. A single warm main works better than multiple hot courses in a small galley. Dessert should be pre-prepared. Your chef will guide you.
Four to twelve guests is practical for a single chef on most Dubai charter yachts. For larger vessels with a full galley, up to twenty is possible.
Your chef handles all shopping and ingredients. They arrive at the marina with everything needed for the dinner. Confirm the boarding time and marina location when booking.
